The Operation

I don’t want to sound too crude
But, – Joe’s innards they did protrude.

So, to the doctor he did go,
He couldn’t poke ’em back no mo.

“Ok” Doc said, “We’ll fix that
with just a little stitch and tack.”

And that’s exactly what they did.
They cut, and poked and stitched my kid.

Now, the neatest guy in old PA
Has a belly with an applique.
